Launching our Farming for Food Justice Fundraising Campaign!

Hello! We are thrilled to announce we are launching our 2nd annual Farming for Food Justice Campaign! This campaign is very near and dear to us at Shaws Creek. This campaign helps us raise funds so we can provide weekly CSA veggie shares to our local food bank, youth shelter and provide some subsidized shares for lower income members.

After last year's successful campaign our goal is to grow this initiative by partnering with more local organizations, streamlining the program so it is efficient in its aim of providing fresh and healthy produce to these organizations and offering alternative ways to contribute.

Of course there are several other ways in which you could support this campaign - First and foremost is to share far and wide on social media, emails and word-of-mouth. Without your support in spreading this message this campaign could have never gotten off the ground! This year we are also looking for anyone who could provide a "perk" to a campaign contributor as another way to show support. Maybe you are knitter, or an artist, or you wouldn't mind donating some time in your area of expertise - however you beleive you can help, get in touch with us.
